Disappointed

I’m at the beginning again just trying to know who I am. What happened to us? I want to believe that my child smile is still inside me and that the innocence hasn’t gone yet. I remember when we used to sing at karaoke and I sat down on your knees. I felt safely. I held the microphone with your hand on mine and then I thought you’d never leave me alone. In fact, I believed you’d walk with me..forever and ever.
